How to write an up-to-date resume?

The application process, like many other business processes, is undergoing digital transformation. Traditional application folders are becoming a thing of the past and are increasingly being replaced by online applications.

Even the resume, as part of the application, is affected by this digitization. Due to the changing conditions and technological advancements, it is now possible to write the resume directly online from any location and quickly send it to the relevant hiring managers in PDF format via email.

The form and content of the resume have also changed. It is no longer necessary to add a signature or start the resume with the heading "Curriculum Vitae." It should be clear to everyone that it is a resume 😉 However, certain elements remain essential.

Your resume should include the following characteristics, among others:

1. Clear and well-organized structure
2. Maximum of 2 pages
3. Sans-serif font, no smaller than 10 pixels
4. No spelling or grammar errors
5. It should be authentic and personal.

To create a successful resume, all of these points should be considered. Keep in mind that you only have about 20-30 seconds to convince a recruiter of your application and be invited for an interview. Therefore, make good use of this time and make a strong first impression!!!
